Ochlockonee River State Park

Ochlockonee River State Park is on the gulf, south of Tallahassee. Take US 319 to Sopchoppy, then it's anothe 4 miles to the park.. We stayed here February 14th -17th 2014. It was a little cool in the mornings and evenings, but the days were gorgeous. The facilities were clean with restrooms and showers. There was  a large outdoor sink area with hot and cold water for washing. no washer/dryers at site. The restroom area could use some updating, heat would have been nice, but the shower stalls warmed up once the water was going.

The camp sites were great with an area for an RV and a tent. The sites were very scenic with trails leading to the river. Some spots were a little tough to get into depending on your vehicle size. Each site had a fire pit, picnic table, water and electric hookups. Some of the sites near the restrooms were paved with handicapped access to restrooms.

Lots of wildlife, driving trails hiking and biking trails. There is a park close to the campsite where you can swim and canoe. It has picnic and event facilities. There is also a youth campsite for scouts. There is a boat ramp area that is being renovated but it is still easy to use.
